Apple Music launched on June 30, 2015, in 100 countries. New users receive a three-month free trial subscription, which changes to a monthly fee after three months. A family plan allows six users to share a subscription at a reduced rate. Apple originally sought to enter the market at a lower price point for the service, but the music industry rejected the plan. The service debuted as an updated Music app on the iOS 8.4 update. Apple TV and Android device support was planned for a “fall” 2015 launch. A previously unreleased song by Pharrell Williams, entitled “Freedom”, was used in promotional material and announced as an exclusive release on the launch of the service. The “History of Sound” advert for the launch of the Apple Music service was soundtracked by the tune There Is No Light by Wildbirds & Peacedrums, from their 2009 album The Snake. Upon its launch, Beats Music subscriptions and playlists were migrated to Apple Music, and the service was discontinued.

Apple Music’s major redesign in iOS 10 received more positive reviews. Caitlin McGarry of Macworld praised Apple for having “cleaned up the clutter, reconsidered the navigation tools, put your library front and center, and added algorithmically created playlists to rival Spotify’s.” She noted bigger fonts, large amounts of white space, and she welcomed changes to various functionalities, concluding with the statement that “Apple Music’s redesign is a huge improvement over its previous incarnation, and a clear sign that Apple is listening to its customers”. However, another Macworld editor, Oscar Raymundo, criticized the new design, writing that “Apple Music in iOS 10 is not as elegant or intuitive as Apple promised. The music service added more needless options, key actions like repeat got buried, and the For You section leaves a lot to be desired”. Jordan Novet of VentureBeat wrote positively about the changes, stating “Apple has improved the overall design, as well as the experience”.
The phone itself is retails between $650 – $850 on average, depending on the accessories and memory you get along with it. According to Apple.com, “(the) iPhone 8 isn’t simply bigger — it’s better in every way.” It is a larger version of the previous iPhones, yet it is thinner. This means it is ‘stronger’ in the sense that the capabilities are much more efficient than in previous models. It also contains a new Retina HD display and contains a metal surface (not plastic).

Famed for their perennial “All Right Now,” Free helped lay the foundations for the rise of hard rock, stripping the earthy sound of British blues down to its raw, minimalist core to pioneer a brand of proto-metal later popularized by 1970s superstars like Foreigner, Foghat and Bad Company. Free formed in London in 1968 when guitarist Paul Kossoff, then a member of the blues unit Black Cat Bones, was taken to see vocalist Paul Rodgers’ group Brown Sugar by a friend, drummer Tom Mautner. After deciding to form their own band, Kossoff and Rodgers recruited drummer Simon Kirke (since Mautner was at university) and 16-year-old bass phenom Andy Fraser from the ranks of John Mayall’s Bluesbreakers; with the aid of Alexis Korner, who also suggested the name Free, the fledgling band signed to the Island label, issuing their bluesy debut Tons of Sobs in 1968.
I had this app for a couple of years and actually was able to redeem iTunes card. Then I had so much trouble with their app and actually qualifying for and completing surveys that I just quit. When I gave it another try a while later my account had been locked and I had to get it reinstated. I still never qualified for any surveys and the app crashed constantly. I thought I would try again recently and I was locked out again. When I contacted support they respond like they don’t even have an app (like they NEVER MENTIONED THE APP AT ALL) and I was asked very invasive questions even about what internet provider I used. I felt most of the info they asked for was unnecessary to just get my account unlocked. They reinstated my account with a “warning” but I still have no idea why I got a warning or what it could be about? I logged back in and found all my earnings (I had $7.50 accrued) was missing. I went back to the email thread I had and asked where my funds went and I have received no response. I finally just deleted this the other day because I’m sick of fighting with it. Don’t waste your time. I wish I could give less than one star. But I did at least redeem one card (but it took forever to earn enough to get it) so I guess one star is fair.

Once you’re in the iTunes Store homepage, look for a Quick Links heading on the right side. Underneath that heading will be a Free On iTunes link. Click the link, and voilà! This page features all sorts of free content, including music, movie clips, TV shows, apps, and even “new and notable” podcasts.
